Ogilvie Wins Another For SGSC

Former Yellow Jacket Cody Ogilvie earned another pitching win for the South Georgia State College Hawks in a 12-5 victory over Andrew College last Tuesday in Douglas.
Caleb Moss started on the mound for SGSC and in three innings, he allowed only three hits while striking out one and walking none. Ogilvie allowed one hit and one run over two innings, striking out two and walking one. Seth Shadix, Josh Mejia and Ian Smith all put in work on the pitcher’s mound in Tuesday’s game.
SGSC continues to hold their second place position in the GCAA standings after a 4-game sweep of Andrew College. They now stand at 31-14 overall and 17-6 in conference play.
