Snipesville Parade

The Snipesville New Year’s Day celebration will be held Jan. 1 with a parade and traditional lunch menu.
The meal will consist of barbecue pork or grilled chicken, black-eyed peas, yams, rolls, and cake. Plate prices are $7. There will be take out or dining in at the center with lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m.
The parade begins at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade. There is no entry fee. The parade is in need of antique cars, floats, horses, twirlers, or any other entries. There will be a cake auction. There will also be a bouncy house and Jimmie Ryles Kiddie Train. Vendors are welcome.
