Rose Show at Pineland Bank in Baxley

The 48th annual Rose Show will be held Thursday, April 19, in the lobby of Pineland Bank in Baxley. Entry time is from 9-10 a.m. with judging at noon.
All colors and types of roses may be entered and awards will be given for each color division. A Grand Champion and a Reserve Champion will be chosen in each age division. An overall Best of Show rose is also awarded. This year’s first place winners will receive an All-American rose bush next year at planting time.
The event, co-sponsored by Appling County UGA Extension and Pineland Bank, is free and open to the public.
