JD girls host state tournament 1st round at 3 p.m.

Jeff Davis girls tennis team last week won its fourth consecutive Region 2-AA championship last week, winning two matches at the region tournament in Vidalia.
The girls team had a “pink out” during the tournament in support of senior Kaleigh Bush’s mother.
The girls competed in the first round of state at home April 17.
Jeff Davis boys tennis traveled to Vidalia to compete in the region tournament and finished fourth. They continue on to the first round of state this week away.
