Clinic consecration
The shipping container conversion to a medical clinic has been finished, says the pastor of Hazlehurst First United Methodist Church the Rev. Allen Hartsfield.
A consecration service will be celebrated this Sunday during worship at 11 and an open house will be provided for all to see the completed project before and after the service.
All are invited to stop by anytime this week to see what has been done and pray over the new medical clinic which is now going to Ghana, West Africa, loaded with millions of dollars of medical supplies as well as local donations of blankets, shoes, clothes and children books.
Local businesses and individuals have donated all kinds of needed supplies to help with the construction.
The church’s youth have spearheaded the $15,000 project and it was coordinated thru the Rev. Bobby Gale’s Unto the Least of His ministry.
This will be the first solar powered clinic as many areas in Africa do not have electricity.
