Bullied Benefit For Cayley Anderson
Ride Right Roughstock Arena will present Extreme Bull Challenge Bullride to raise funds to benefit 4-year-old Cayley Anderson of Hazlehurst.
The event will be held at the Ride Right Roughstock Arena in Ambrose May 26 at 7 p.m.
Cayley, the daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Anderson, was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a condition that causes the muscles to be weak and deteriorate over time. Sitting up is a challenge for her.
Cayley must use a wheelchair so her parents are renovating their home to suit her needs. She wants a handicap swing to play outside.
She is receiving spinal injections and physical therapy to treat the weakness and enable her to sit up on her own. With therapy, medications and determination she hopes to be able to walk.
At the bullride, cakes, quilts, gift sets, farm toys, etc., will be auctioned off. If anyone would like to donate to the auction, call Krystal Wood at 912-381-9989 or Verla Williams at 912-310-0632.
Admission for the benefit bullride is $10 for ages 12 and up, $5 for ages 6-11, and children five and under will be admitted free.
For more information, call 912-383-8432, 912-309-9858 or 912-310-0632.
