Big Band Music at FUMC

Some big band type music will be played this Sunday at 11 a.m. at Hazlehurst First United Methodist Church, says the Rev. Scott Brenton, pastor.
Music director Dennis Kirby has planned some exciting and different musical arrangements of hymns with a big band sound which all will certainly enjoy.
Several additional guest orchestra members will be a part of the service.
Allison Lindsey from the conference connectional ministries office in St. Simons will lead an “On Boarding” session this Sunday at 5:30.
This is a fast way to get to know the new pastor and for the pastor to get to know the congregation. Rev. Brenton was appointed to Hazlehurst FUMC in July.
The session will help pastor and church bond more quickly and sooner.
