The Hazlehurst City Council’s regularly scheduled meeting.

Forever Young, the senior adults of Hazlehurst First United Methodist Church are meeting this Thursday, says Jonathan Hartsfield, senior adult coordinator.
They will leave from the church at 6 to go to Douglas and the Flying Cowboy restaurant.
Everyone is invited for good fun, food and fellowship.
The mission project this month for United Methodist Women is collecting underwear, pants and socks for the primary and elementary school for accidents and emergencies.
UMW president Shelley Gay says they need size 4-8 for boys and girls. The collection bin is in the social hall.

Jeff Davis Elementary School will host its virtual Annual Title I Meeting presentation Aug. 25.
The presentation will be posted on the Jeff Davis County School’s website. Make plans to view this presentation.

Jeff Davis High School will hold its Annual Title I Meeting Aug. 25 at 2:30 p.m.
This year’s meeting will strictly be held virtually. This meeting is not the same as the Open House event.
