Jeff Davis Primary School will host a virtual Testing Parent Meeting presentation Sept. 2. The presentation will be posted on the Jeff Davis County School’s website.

Old Geezer Day will be Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Snipesville Community Center. Registration is at 9:30 a.m. and program begins at 10 a.m. Lunch will be included.
Relive the history and events of the 1950s and 1960s as told by the old geezers. There will be stories told of local history, folklore and strange events in the Jeff Davis area.
Participating on the program are Garry Newman, Van McCall, Jeff Davis Veterans, Angie McCall, Brig. Gen. Darrell Lockaby (Ret.)., Andy Tate, David Miller and Ken King. Also, there will be a tractor show presentation.

The Jeff Davis County Veterans Association will meet Sept. 28 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Municipal Center across from Burger King on Jefferson Street.
