  • Annual Golf Classic

    The Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Golf Classic Sept. 11 at the Blueberry Plantation Golf Course in Alma.
    The Classic is a 4-man scramble with shotgun start at 9 a.m. The winning team will take home $1,000. Each golfer will take home a gift bag with golf shirt, golf balls and hat.

  • Veterans Meeting

    Veterans interested in joining the Jeff Davis County Veterans Association are welcome to attend the veterans meeting Nov. 24 at the City Municipal Building on Jefferson Street beside the Hazlehurst Police Department.
    This will be last meeting for the year. Masks and social distancing encouraged.
