The regular monthly meeting for the Board of Assessors has been changed to June 1 at 4 p.m. in the Tax Assessor’s office.

The 12th District Women’s Auxiliary Prayer Breakfast will be June 2 at 9 a.m. at Williams Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1142 Ga Highway 29 S, East Dublin.
The speaker will be Minister Connie Drummond.

Methodist Church Vacation Bible School will be June 3-7 at 5:30. This year’s theme is “Rolling River Rampage.”

Philadelphia Baptist Church will celebrate Homecoming Sunday, June 3, beginning at 10:30 a.m. The church was established in 1870. Special music will be provided by Rodney Carter and Pastor Stan Taylor will preach. A luncheon and fellowship will follow the service. Pastor Taylor and members invite past and present church family and friends to join them in celebrating all that the Lord has done throughout the years.

A farewell luncheon for the Rev. Josh Duckworth and his family is planned this Sunday at noon at Hazlehurst First United Methodist Church.
Rev. Duckworth has been appointed as the new pastor of Whitebluff UMC in Savannah and this Sunday will be his last Sunday in the pulpit here.
He and wife Jade and sons Cade and Lucas have been in Hazlehurst for the past three years.
