The Hazlehurst-Jeff Davis County Board of Tourism hosted the Altamaha Fishing Tournament June 13.
Bass Division winners were Stacy Adams Sr. (1st Place, 15.18 lbs.) and Jarrod McDaniel and Kace Rush (2nd Place, 13.25 lbs.).
In the Panfish Division, Carson Shelby and Jeremy Lanier took 1st Place with 2.92 lbs., followed by Jennifer and Michael White in 2nd Place with 1.91 lbs., and John and Briar Barefoot in 3rd Place with 1.04 lbs.
The Board of Tourism extends its appreciation to the tournament sponsors: Stone’s Machine Shop, Bank of Hazlehurst, Bussey Bait & Tackle of Alma, River Run Bait and Tackle, Jeff Davis Hospital, Googe’s Inc. of Hazlehurst, Tractor Supply Co., and Bass Pro Shops.
