Holy Week services set

The community noon holy week services are again scheduled this year at Hazlehurst First Methodist Church, says the Rev. Steven Riddle, pastor.
Each day March 30 thru April 3 the church will have lunch beginning at 11:45 in their social hall followed by different area singers and speakers.
HFMC has hosted this event for over 50 years.
The preacher Monday thru Friday respectively will be the Rev. Ronnie Wilcox of Heritage Baptist, the Rev. Justin McLellan, Lamar Lee of Baxley Church of God, Johnny Watkins of the Word International Worship Center and Mike Gilbert of Restoration Church.
The singers each day include Gabe Spell, Jordan & Lauren Ball, Javan Anderson & Lamar Lee, Jennifer Warren and Anna Taylor Jackson.
A Maundy Thursday service will be held at 6 in the church’s sanctuary on April 2 with the Rev. Steven Riddle preaching.
Everyone is invited to come to one of the few times all our churches come together for an event.
