King announces candidacy

Micah Meshach King has announced his candidacy for the Georgia State House of Representatives in District 157, launching a campaign centered on practical solutions, economic opportunity, and strong support for rural communities across Tattnall, Evans, Jeff Davis, and Appling counties.
King, a lifelong advocate for working families and small businesses, says his campaign will focus on bringing steady, commonsense leadership to the State Capitol.
“I’m running to be a practical voice for our communities,” King said. “Families in our district want safe neighborhoods, good schools, strong local businesses, and leaders who will work across the aisle, and with them, to get results.”
King’s priorities include:
Supporting farmers and strengthening agricultural economy
Helping small businesses grow
Addressing affordability challenges facing families
Investing in workforce development and education
Preserving natural resources and rural character
King emphasizes listening to constituents and focusing on issues that impact daily life.
“This campaign is about putting people first and focusing on what unites us,” King added. “I believe we can make meaningful progress by working together and keeping the focus on our local communities.”
