To the Citizens of Jeff Davis County
I am honored to announce my candidacy for County Commissioner of the Whitehead District in Jeff Davis County.
As a lifelong resident of this community, I care deeply about the people, values, and traditions that make our county such a special place to live and raise a family. I am committed to preserving our heritage while encouraging responsible growth and new opportunities for future generations.
My family has been blessed to call Jeff Davis County home for many years. My wife, Pamela Trowell Hurley, has devoted 26 years to educating the youth of our county. Together, we have raised four children, Garrett, Leah, Lauren, and Morgan, who share our strong ties to this community.
I am also proud to be celebrating 40 years with Walmart Distribution, including 35 years in management. Throughout my career, I have gained valuable experience leading diverse teams, making sound financial decisions, and ensuring efficient operations – skills I believe are essential to serving our county effectively.
If elected, I pledge to serve with honor and integrity, to listen to the needs of our citizens, and to remain fiscally responsible with taxpayer dollars. My goal is to be a strong voice for the people of the Whitehead District while working together to continue moving Jeff Davis County forward.
