Mrs. Feona Carter Edger, 80

Mrs. Feona Carter Edge, 80, of Hazlehurst passed away Feb. 25 at Vista Park Health in Douglas.
Mrs. Edge was born April 2, 1945, to the late Doris Carter and the late Dorothy Yawn Carter. She worked on the assembly line at PCC AirFoils for many years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, working in her garden and tending to her flowers. She also loved to fish. Her greatest pasttime was spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children’s father, Billy Edge, sisters Patricia Rowell, Bobbie Jean Mitchum, Janice Moore and Lynell Taylor, and brothers Bronnie Carter, Ronnie Carter, Johnnie Carter and Patrick Carter.
Survivors include her daughter Alena (Wayne) Hurley of Hazlehurst; sons Ronnie Edge of Denton and Bruce Edge of Hazlehurst; brother Greg (Lori) Carter of Ocilla; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Services were held March 2. at Macedonia Church of God with the Rev. Van McCall officiating. Interment followed in Yawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Hunter Miller, Kaden Spell, Daniel Pelletier, Randon Edge, Mikel Edge and Ross Hall.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Vista Park Health.
Music was rendered by Angie McCall.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
