Choices, Pre-K lock down shortly

The Jeff Davis County School System issued the following statement on Facebook Monday:
A safety lockdown was initiated at 11:52 a.m. at Choices Learning Academy today due to a non-weapon related altercation between two students. Due to its proximity to Pre-K, they were also placed on lockdown for approximately 8 minutes. Law enforcement responded to the call and the incident was quickly resolved. We would like to thank our staff members and our law enforcement partners for their immediate response to this matter to assure the safety of our students and staff members.
