New Year’s Day Parade

The Snipesville Community will host their annual New Year’s Day celebration Jan. 1 with a parade and traditional lunch menu.
The menu will consist of barbecue pork or grilled chicken, black-eyed peas, yams, rolls, and cake. Plate prices are $12. There will be take out or dining in at the center with lunch beginning at 11:30 a.m.
There will be a cake auction, a bouncy house, and Jimmie Ryles Kiddie Train. Vendors are welcome.
The parade begins at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to participate in the parade. There is no entry fee. The parade is in need of antique cars, floats, horses, twirlers, or any other entries.
