Festival of Trees/Jingle Mingle Market set
It is that time of year again for the Festival of Trees, but this year it has been expanded to include Jingle-Mingle Market. The event will be held at Jeff Davis Fairgrounds this Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
There will be live entertainment, food trucks, kid’s games, cake walk, vendors and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there for pictures.
Entertainment will include Jeff Davis Middle and High School bands, Steve Morgan, Bridgette Brown and Cara Summerlin. Food trucks will be tacos, funnel cakes, Shelby’s BBQ, and more. Kids games will include balloon darts, bungee jump, bean bag toss, pick up ducks and face paint. Come and enjoy the cake walk with Christmas music and take home a delicious cake or pie. Vendors will include Two Mad Hatters, Key Bliss Designs, Sweet Potato Man with produce, Chick-a-D Designs and many more.
Bring your kids from 10-12:30 to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus and their workshop. You can take a picture, decorate a Christmas ornament, write a letter to Santa and end with cookies and hot chocolate. That event is $10.
Also don’t forget to place a bid for the auction of beautiful Christmas trees or Christmas wreaths for the holiday season.
All proceeds will benefit the repair of The Big House.
