Mr. John Hall Jr., 82

Mr. John Hall Jr. was born Oct. 27, 1942, to the late Henrietta Carter Hall Golden and Johnny Hall. He was educated in the public school system of Tattnall County at Glennville School for Coloreds. He later moved to Miami, Fla., where he obtained his GED.
At a young age, John developed a love for hunting and cooking. He joined Beulah No. 1 under the leadership of AJ Richardson. He later moved his membership to Grace Missionary Baptist Church, Miami, Fla. He was employed with Miami/Dade County for 35 years.
John was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Archie Lee Hall and a sister Claudine Harvey.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his family Mack Hall of Pittsburg, Penn., Shirley Proche of Swainsboro, Mary Winstead, Richard (Tonie) Golden and Beautine Mincey all of Glennville, a dear and special friend Gloria Downs and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Services were held Nov. 1 in the Ruben King Sr. Memorial Chapel of King and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial followed in the Greater Zachariah Baptist Church Cemetery, Glennville. King and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge.
