XC runs at Grovetown

The Jeff Davis High cross country teams traveled to Grovetown, right outside of Augusta, for their final regular season meet of the year.
Both the varsity boys and girls finished 6th overall in a highly competitive meet, while the JV boys finished 4th overall. The JV girls did not have enough runners to score as a team but had three girls compete in the race.
The high school team will host the GHSA 1A, Division 1 Sectional (Regions 1, 3, 4 and 8) this Saturday. The Top 12 teams and Top 20 Individuals from the meet will advance to the State Championship Nov. 8 in Carrollton.
