Jeff Davis has one of state’s top graduation rate

The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) recently released the 2024-2025 statewide high school graduation rate, reporting a 1.8% growth in the four-year graduation rate. According to the GADOE, the 2024 graduation rate rose from 85.4% to 87.2%, an all time high since the state began using an adjusted cohort calculation method which has been required since 2011.
Jeff Davis High School has a 4-year graduation rate of 98.9%. Jeff Davis County School System has the 10th highest graduation rate among 194 reporting school systems in Georgia. It is also the 3rd highest graduation rate among 19 school systems in the school system’s RESA area.
Jeff Davis is one of only 60 school districts in Georgia with a graduation rate above 95%.
