XC Teams run in Cochran

The Jeff Davis High and Middle School cross country teams participated in the Bleckley County 2 Mile Night Run last Thursday in Cochran.
Ellie Kate Marchant’s 5th place finish in the varsity girls race was the top finish by a Jeff Davis High runner. She covered the 2 miles in a time of 12:57.12.
Other JD girls running were 20. Laysie Lewis, 22. Marley Powell, 24. Jade Franco, 26. Christina Wilcox, 28. Graysie Lewis and 30. Aurie Taylor.
