County Lowers Millage Rate

In a called meeting Monday afternoon, the Jeff Davis County Commission voted to roll back this year’s millage rate from 12.335 to 12.175.
The actiuon came after Tax Commissioner Susie Kersey explained how much money would be collected by the county with the rolled-back millage rate.
