Mr. Johnny Merle Moody, 86

Mr. Johnny Merle Moody, 86, of Hazlehurst passed away Sept. 2 at Lumber City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mr. Moody was born July 18, 1939, in Snipesville to the late Hyman Moody and the late Bertie Johnson Moody. He was a veteran of the United States Navy where he served 24 years and was a Lieutenant Forman. Mr. Moody was preceded in death by 12 siblings and a grandson, Jonathan Bourne.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Moody; daughters Patricia (John) Bourne, Elizabeth (Sid) Cole and Kathleen (Donald) Willbanks; and four grandchildren.
