Cross Country Teams Travel To Fayetteville

The Jeff Davis High cross country teams took the long drive to Fayetteville to compete in the Starr’s Mill AT&T Panther Invitational Saturday. The team raced well against mostly larger classification schools. Individual results produced 12 Season Best Times and 11 Personal Record Times.
Friday night the team participated in a dinner put on by host school Starr’s Mill. The dinner had Olympian Whittni Morgan as speaker, who talked about her high school, college, and professional career.
The team will be back in action Sept. 11 at the Southern Georgia XC Championships.

The Lady Jackets finished 15th among 24 teams in the competition. Top finishers were:
