Mr. Roger Stanley Hester, 88

Roger Stanley Hester, age 88, of Douglasville, Georgia, passed away July 2, 2025. He was born in Jeff Davis County, Georgia on May 26, 1937, son of the late David J. Hester and the late Lillian Dyal. He was a member and Deacon for Ebenezer Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Sibyl Strickland Hester; children: Angela Hester, Sheree Vanest, Rogena Ashmore and her husband John; grandchildren: Christy Faff, Daphne Clark; five great-grandchildren; sisters: Brenda Warren, Sandra Faye Carter, Jacolyn Edge.
A graveside service were held at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. where Brother Terry Braswell, Jr. officiated.
