Board hires new employees

The Jeff Davis County Board of Education held a called meeting last Thursday.
The board approved the following resignations, retirements, and recommendations.
Resignations — Makayla Carver – JD Pre-K Paraprofessional; Victoria Lynn Carter – JDES Teacher; and Stafford King – JDMS Assistant Principal.
Retirements — Letisha Miles – JDPS Paraprofessional.
Recommendations — Kenlie Sharpe – JD Pre-K Paraprofessional; Maria Pineda – JD Pre-K Custodian; Jenna Harper – JDPS Teacher; Avery Relihan – JDPS Teacher; Cameron Lewis – JDES Teacher; Dana Giddens – JDES Teacher; Elijah Alford – JDMS Band Director; Logan Salem – Technology Specialist; Graceanna Griffis – School Psychologist; Dusty Villalba – Automotive Maintenance Technician; Thomas James (T.J.) Mercer – JDES Principal.
