Mr. Freddie Lee James, 56

Mr. Freddie Lee James was born on March 11, 1968, in Alamo to the late Rufus and Lillie Mae James of Alamo. Freddie departed Sept. 5 at The Hammack Hospital in Macon.
Freddie graduated from Wheeler High School in Alamo in 1986. He served as the Resident Council President at Southland Rehabilitation Center in Dublin where he resided.
Freddie gave his life to the Lord in 2017. He loved to attend church, and music was his passion. He wrote a song: I want to go to heaven, alone with many other songs.
He leaves cherished memories with sisters Rudeana Blackshere of Hazlehurst and Susie Jordan (Randy) of McRae; brothers Rufus James of Miami, Fla., and Teddie James (Bridgett) of Hazlehurst; and a host of nephews and nieces.
King Brothers Funeral Home was in charge.
