Mrs. Emma Jane McDuffie, 73

Mrs. Emma Jane McDuffie, 73, passed away March 29, in Jacksonville.
Born in Tampa, Fla., she traveled with her husband during his ministry, living most of that time in Long County. Along with supporting him, she worked as a retail clothing manager and as a bus monitor. Mrs. McDuffie was also a talented singer, artist, gardener, and seamstress. She was a faithful and loving wife and mother and servant of her Lord, and a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Elder Gene McDuffie of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter Jennifer Warnock (William) of Madison, Minn.; son Jason McDuffie (Tonya) of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother Howard Renfroe Jr. of Ormond Beach, Fla.; grandson Austin Vaughn of Orlando, Fla.
Memorial services will be April 10 at 11 a.m. at Howard Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Weldon officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m.
