Mr. Robert Keith Wilcox, 79

Mr. Robert Keith Wilcox, 79, of Hazlehurst passed away Jan. 10 at his residence.
Mr. Wilcox was born April 17, 1944, in Jeff Davis County to the late Robert Wilcox Jr. and the late Sarah Louise Harbin Wilcox. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a retired maintenance superintendent with IMC Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and playing golf.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Shirley Davis Wilcox of Hazlehurst; sons, Steven (Donna) Wilcox and Kelvin (Angie) Wilcox both of Hazlehurst; sister, Karen Ogden of Hazlehurst; brother, Ronald (Daisy) Wilcox of Hazlehurst; grandchildren, Casey (Bree) Wilcox of Hazlehurst, Lauren (Jordan) Ball of Baxley, Brooke (Clint) Taylor, Lindsey (Jay) Klees and Brett (Talia) Wilcox all of Hazlehurst; and great-grandchildren, Charlee, Hadley, Gabe, Sawyer, Landry, Sutton, Chandler, Aubrey and Stetson.
Services were held Jan. 13 at Southside Baptist Church with Dr. Ben Glosson, the Rev. Jeffery Spell, and the Rev. Bryan D. Herrington officiating. Interment was in Satilla Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Craig Wilcox, Chris Wilcox, Justin Wilcox, Clint Taylor, Jay Klees, Johnny Thompson Jr., and Jordan Ball.
Honorary pallbearers were Sherry and Ronnie Browning and Paul Wilkes.
Swain Funeral Home was in charge.
