Mr. Joseph Adam Taylor, 48

Mr. Joseph Adam Taylor, 48, of Hazlehurst, passed away at his residence Nov. 6.
Mr. Taylor is the son of Terry Dan Taylor and the late Dorothy Vahl. He was the project manager for Diversified Fabrications and served as a Marine for four years. He enjoyed many things in life and was an outdoorsman. He served for the local sheriff’s department for 10 years. Some of his favorite things to do include hunting and fishing, going to baseball games, and being very involved with his kids. He was known to be very sociable and a friend to many people. Joe was a big brother, the oldest of six kids. He was a true friend and great at giving compliments. He traveled and had seen much of the world. He was fearless and always ready to stick up for people but most of all he was a proud daddy. Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Vahl.
He is survived by daughter, Abbi Lynn Taylor; son Joseph Brett Taylor; brother Daniel Robert Taylor (Mandi) all of Hazlehurst; sisters, Deborah Taylor Rowland (Shawn), Victoria Taylor Davis of Hazlehurst, Barbara Taylor Smith (Brad) of Pooler, Terri Diane Taylor of Hazlehurst; nieces and nephews, Carsynn, Graci, Zoie and Kross Taylor, Miles and Kerrington Rowland, Ashton, Annalynn and Rayne Davis, Izzy and Paxton Smith, Maclay and Grey Taylor.
Active pallbearers were Matt Rowell, Jonathan Yawn, Paul Wood, Eric Crumpton, Justin Sanders, and Cole Yawn. All in attendance were honorary pallbearers.
Services were held Nov. 10 at Southside Baptist Church. Interment followed at Liberty Community Church Cemetery. The Rev. Johnny Taylor, Daniel Robert Taylor and Abbi Lynn Taylor officiated.
Wainright-Parlor was in charge.
