Mr. Aubrey Floyd, 75

Mr. Aubrey Floyd Sr., 75, of Hazlehurst, passed away Oct. 27 at his residence.
He was born May 6, 1948, in Jeff Davis County.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Devoy Floyd and Katie Mae Hall Floyd, son, Christopher Shane Floyd, sisters, Alene Killi, Patricia Griffin, brothers, Eddie Joe Floyd, David Floyd and Donald Floyd.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Hazlehurst City as their Street Department Supervisor.
He loved his family and his fur babies, Rover, Tinker Bell, Rouge, Buck Shot, Bullet II, Lucky, Spot, Baby, Precious, Tarzan, Hercules and Gismo.
Survivors include his wife Mollie Virginia Newell Floyd of Hazlehurst; son, Aubrey Floyd Jr. (Linda) of Hazlehurst; brother, Roger Floyd of Virginia; sisters, Judy Hayes of Hazlehurst and Lisa Tupman of Hazlehurst; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews
A memorial service was held Oct. 29 at the residence of Mr. Floyd.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
