Mr. Lewis Monroe Sellers, 77

Lewis Monroe Sellers, 77, of Hazlehurst, passed away Oct. 2 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Sellers was born in Hazlehurst to the late Mr. Lewis Vernon Sellers and Mrs. Vera Yawn Sellers.
Mr. Sellers was loved by many and will be missed by many. He and Mrs. Carolyn had been married for 55 years and they both have been lifelong members of Oakview Baptist Church. He was a deacon for the church and enjoyed the outdoors and living the country life. Mr. Sellers worked 30 plus years for Gainer and Ragland Timber Company.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Sellers, daughters, Valerie Burton (Steve), Angie Cook (Bryan); sister, Latrelle McLeod (Kennith); grandchildren, Jessica Fishchetti, Ashley Cook, Lauren Cook; great-grandchildren, Peyton Fishchetti and Brooklyn Fishchetti.
Services were held Oct. 5 at Oakview Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. David Barber, the Rev. Keith Yawn, and the Rev. Terry Reagin officiated.
Active pallbearers were Adrian Carelock, Shane Sellers, Colby Sellers and Mike Sellers.
Misty Barber provided music.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
