Mrs. Laurel Lee Delia Heard, 76

Ms. Laurel Lee Delia Heard, 76, of Hazlehurst, passed away Aug. 22 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.
Ms. Heard was born April 29, 1947, in Chicago, Ill. She had resided in Hazlehurst for the past few years and eventually went to stay at Pineland Personal Care Home.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John McHugh Heard and Marie Dorothy Challe Heard, and daughter, Michelle Schroeder Carter.
Ms. Heard enjoyed bowling, fishing, knitting, crocheting, painting, keyboard, bingo, cards and especially, pineapple upside down cake.
Survivors include her son, Ray Schroeder (Lynn) of Hazlehurst; daughters and sons-in-law, Wendy Barnes (Kirk) of Florida and Laurie Burman (Gordon) of Florida; brother, Larry Heard of Wisconsin; sister, Marie Santigo (Romie) of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Amanda Wyatt, Alexandria Roeder, Abigail Barnes, Christopher Barnes, David Corl, Rebecca Meloy, Johnathan Burman, Jessica Burman, Sean Burman, Ashley Coryell, John Carta, Brandon Schroeder, Shane Schroeder, Breanna Dukes; great-grandchildren, Ethan Wyatt, Eliza Wyatt, Luke Roeder, Kirk Roeder, Jack Roeder, Daniel Corl, Arabella Corl, Allison Meloy, Charlotte Meloy, Cooper Coryell, Carter Coryell, Brently Schroeder and Haisley Schroeder; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held later.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
