Band Conducting Fund Raiser

Funnel cakes! Hamburgers! Boiled peanuts! . . .The football team suited up! . . . The band playing! It’s that time of year . . . Friday night lights!
Your award- winning Yellow Jacket Marching Band – The Pride of the Pinelands – takes the field at halftime this Friday night in Charlton County. This year’s expectation is nothing less than a stellar performance after winning numerous awards at multiple competitions last year. The band truly represented the school and community with outstanding integrity and talent at each event last year.
But, the band needs help to look as good as it sounds when performing at halftime and at competitions. To accomplish this combination, new uniforms are needed. While the goal cannot be achieved for this year’s season, it can be achieved for the 2024 season. And, it is a sizeable goal; to the tune of approximately $80,000 to $90,000. With $30,000 already raised, The band is asking the community to reach down where you bleed Navy and Gold and support this worthy cause.
It is most definitely a worthwhile venture as the current uniforms are over 12 years old. That means they are as old one child’s entire school career. In the graphic you can see the proposed new uniform.
