Ms. Hazel Ragan Taylor, 91

Ms. Hazel Ragan Taylor, 91, of Hazlehurst, passed away at home Aug. 1.
Ms. Taylor was born Oct. 5, 1931, in Mitchell County to the late Charlie W. Ragan and Runa Jones Ragan. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hazlehurst.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy G. Taylor; sisters, Agnes Ragan, Lorene Mathis, Pauline Cosper, Lucy Cochran and Ruth Davis; and brothers, Ross Ragan, Thomas Ragan and Gus Ragan.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Taylor of Hazlehurst; great-nephew, John Taylor (Tracee) of Pelham; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services were held Aug. 4th at Pelham City Cemetery officiated by family friend Ronnie Morrell.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
