Mr. Bobby Overstreet, 68

Mr. Bobby Overstreet, 68, of Hazlehurst passed away Sept. 9 at his residence.
Mr. Overstreet was born Nov. 23, 1956, in Appling County to the late Evans Overstreet Sr. and the late Cleo Jewell Yawn Overstreet. He was a retired contractor with Local 256. Bobby enjoyed hunting and watching old tv shows, especially the Andy Griffith Show, Three Stooges and Sanford & Son. He was preceded in death by brothers Colon Overstreet, Jackie Overstreet Sr. and Donnie Overstreet and nephew Nicolas Overstreet.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Overstreet of Hazlehurst; daughters Melissa Overstreet Sweat of Hazlehurst and Shree Johnson of Baxley; grandchildren Scarlett Elizabeth Sweat and Grayson Loran Brigman both of Hazlehurst; sister Betty Jo Smith of South Carolina; brothers Evans Jr. (Janell) Overstreet and Terry (Sharon) Overstreet both of Alma, Billy (Judy) Overstreet of Cordele, Dale Overstreet and Tommy Overstreet both of Baxley, and Larry (Patricia) Overstreet of Surrency; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held Sept. 12 at Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Carter officiating.
Active pallbearers were Stephen Griffin, Darrin McDaniel, Jeremy Adams, Corey Googe, Duke Campbell Jr., David G was in charge.
