Mrs. Ludine Anderson Claxton, 74

Mrs. Ludine Anderson Claxton, 74, of Hazlehurst died Jan. 24 at Hazlehurst Court Care.
Mrs. Claxton was born Feb. 24, 1944, in Jeff Davis County to the late Talmadge Anderson and the late Lucille Sellers Anderson. She was previously employed with Hardees Restaurant and a member of Hazlehurst Church of God. She is preceded in death by her sons, Sidney Leon Claxton and Ladon Claxton, step-daughter, Robbie Claxton.
Survivors include her husband, Odis Claxton of Baxley; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Charlie Anderson of Hazlehurst; sisters, Bonita Anderson of Brunswick and Jean Millwood (Dennis) of Union, S.C.; brother, Kelly Anderson (Connie) of Coolidge; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Jan. 27 at Hazlehurst Church of God with the Rev. Kelly Anderson, the Rev. Mark Grimes, and the Rev. John Nunes officiating.
Interment followed in Hazlehurst City Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Adult Sunday School Class of Big Oaks Church of God, Short and Debbie White and all friends in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Herman Sellers, Joe Davenport, Gary Horton, Ronnie Branch, Jeffery Spell, Mark Kamalakis, and Walt Swain.
Musical selections were rendered by her grandson, Javan Anderson.
Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home was in charge.
